Most IEEE IS2 2024 events will take place at Am Wolfsmantel 33, 91058 Erlangen, Germany, where both Fraunhofer IIS and the International Audio Laboratories are located. This area is known as Tennenlohe, a village located between the city center of Erlangen to the north and to the south,the largest city in Franconia, Nuremberg.
The airports Nuremberg, Munich, Frankfurt, and Berlin are highlighted in blue (zoom at the cluster of yellow markers to locate the Nuremberg airport).
Trains from airports and local Erlangen-Nuremberg public transportation are also marked on the map. This may include Deutsche Bahn (with its highspeed ICE rail system), Regional (RE) train systems, S-Bahn (more localized train or tram systems), and U-Bahn (underground systems). Both Erlangen and Nuremberg feature well-connected Hbfs—Hauptbahnhofs; central train stations. The S-Bahn station closest to the IEEE IS2 2024 events is in Eltersdorf.
