About

In Germany for the first time, the IEEE 5th International Symposium on the Internet of Sounds (IEEE IS2 2024) brings together world-renowned and early career researchers and scientists, engineers, students, creative practitioners, entrepreneurs, and industry leaders.

The Internet of Sounds is an emerging research field at the intersection of the Internet of Things (IoT) and Sound and Music Computing. The aim is to facilitate collaboration among researchers and practitioners from academia, industry, and institutes so to investigate and advance the development of Internet of Sounds technologies by using novel tools and processes.

The 3-day program begins on September 30, 2024, and features three notable keynote speakers, includes oral presentations, panels, posters, demonstrations, tutorials, music performances, installations, and features two satellite events—the 1st International Workshop on the Musical Metaverse and the 2nd International Workshop on Networked Immersive Audio.
